DEMBOW is a rhythm-forward, Latinx-rooted pop-up class that blends social dance with communal release. Led by INSÉKTA, the class invites participants into la gozadera—a space of ecstatic joy, rhythmic exploration, and cultural remembrance. Drawing from dembow’s signature bounce and tresillo rhythm, each session integrates improvisation, shared choreography, and guided suggestion rather than strict technique.

Part dance class, part ritual, DEMBOW becomes a collective practice of listening, celebration, and reclaiming physical agency. The pop-up format allows it to unfold in diverse spaces—from studios to public parks—always with the beat at its center.
