BLANCO pt. 2

BLANCO pt. 2 is the first episode in ARRIBA, a DIY episodic video lab created during the isolations of the COVID-19 pandemic. The series reclaims the domestic space as a playground for experimentation, where the camera doesn’t just capture but feels. In this opening piece, the frame is a body, the color white (blanco) is not blankness, but pressure—luminance, heat, friction.

Exploring camera POV as choreography, the work uses color, repetition, and minimal gesture to explore how sensation can be transmitted without dialogue, without face. The result is a visual meditation where stillness moves, and silence speaks. ARRIBA emerged as a rebellious practice of presence—when stages were closed, the screen became a portal.
